The Old Smithy Cottage as its name suggests, was a blacksmiths shop and dates back to early 1700. It was owned by the Wools family for two hundred years who not only used it as a smithy but also, in the early 1900s, as a cycle makers and repair shop. It stands next to our own cottage and both have recently been completely renovated. Click here for a 360° exterior view. (800KB file, requires Quicktime) | |
